Bon, maintenant quelque chose de complétement différent. Vous vous interessez à la programmation, au développement d'applications, locales ou web, et vous recherchez un bon IDE (ou une bonne IDE, je sais pas, je vois pas d'ici)? Stop, bougez plus, c'est juste là. Eclipse est une suite de projets Open Source, qui fournit un IDE global sur lequel viennent se greffer ce qu'on pourrait appeler des plug-ins de langage. Un, l'architecture est intéressante (plus besoin d'apprendre à manipuler une IDE pour chaque nouveau langage) et deux, l'interface est pas mal faite, intuitive et fonctionnellement très complète. Bon, je découvre encore, je suis en phase d'apprentissage (avec le module Java), mais habitué à un environnement Visual Studio, je ne suis pas déçu par la puissance de l'interface. Rien à voir avec le moyen-âge d'un Forte/Workshop sous Solaris par example. Le travail de l'équipe JDT est également impressionant par l'aide qu'il fournit au débutant. Si, vraiment, j'apprécie. Beau boulot les gars.
